What does a low slope roof coating look like?

“Look honey, no shingles!”

Your flat roof doesn’t look like the neighbor’s. When it’s time to restore it, the process is different as well.

Most low slope or flat roofs in our area are covered in a layer of rolled roofing.

When that material is at the end of it’s life, there are two options for your new roof:

  1. Tear everything off and replace with all new material; or

  2. Place a layer of sealant over the existing material to seal any defects in the roof.

For most of our flat roofs we opt for option 2. Flat or low slope roofs can add an additional 10-20 years in life with a high quality roof coating.

This approach:

  • Saves on demolition and tear off costs

  • Eliminates mess

  • Is efficient and quiet

  • Costs less than a full tearoff and replacement

  • Is long lasting

We’ll prep the roof and apply a layer of sealant that eliminates any gaps in the material below. Without the seams that traditional roofing material has, there are fewer opportunities for water to enter the home.
